Hebrews 10:1
KJV 1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
ACV 1 For the law having a shadow of the good things that are coming, not the same substance of the events, with the same sacrifices that are offered continually each year, they are never able to fully perfect those who are approaching.
These are my thoughts.
The law pointed to Jesus who not put away the law but He was the fulfillment to the law.

Hebrews 10:2
KJV 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
ACV 2 Otherwise would they not have ceased being offered, because of those who worship, once having been cleansed, to have no further conscience of sins?
These are my thoughts.
We are no longer bond to sin be free for Jesus.

Hebrews 10:3
KJV 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
ACV 3 But in them is a reminder of sins each year.
These are my thoughts.
The sacrifices they made were done each year they were never put away with until Christ died putting away to it and finishing it.

ACV 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
These are my thoughts.
It is only by the sacrifice that God would give for us that would be justified.

Hebrews 10:5
KJV 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
ACV 5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire, but thou prepared for me a body.
These are my thoughts.
Christ gave His body for us what do offer up back to Him because it needs to be our all.

KJV 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
ACV 6 In whole burnt offerings, and for sin thou were not pleased.
These are my thoughts.
Burnt offerings no longer pleased God this is when Christ came to die as the final sacrifice for sin.

We are called and sealed in the book to do good for the Lord.

ACV 8 saying above, Sacrifice and offering and whole burnt offerings and for sin thou did not desire, nor were thou pleased with things that are offered according to the law.

Jesus death was greater then any offering or sacrifice that man could give.

Jesus fulfilled the old covenant, the law to bring about the new covenant, the gospel.

We are made pure by the blood of Christ.

ACV 11 And indeed every priest stands daily serving and offering the same sacrifices often, which can never take away sins.

Priests served day from day but it never fully fixed things thru Jesus things are fixed.

Jesus finished the sacrifices with Him being our Lamb.

ACV 13 waiting henceforth until his enemies are placed a footstool of his feet.

We are to wait for God to judge our enemies.

We should have God’s law on our heart and then live by them.

God forgets on sin when we come to the foot of the cross.

When we come to the cross and receive grace our sins are forgiven forever.

We come before God because we have the blood of Jesus the veil is torn praise Him that we now can have one on one with God.

Thru Jesus dying the veil was ripped between us and God we now thru Christ can go to God ourselves.
